CHS Wine + Food Festival Recap

We came, we ate, we celebrated, and we most definitely spread the Green Heart love! As the Community Partner of this year’s Charleston Wine + Food Festival we were thrilled to participate in the five day celebration of Charleston’s local culinary scene and the richly diverse community that surrounds it.

Together with the folks from Batch Charleston, we spent the better part of the weekend stationed in the Culinary Village where we chatted with festival-goers about the Green Heart Project and our partnership with Batch, neither of which are a hard-sell… I mean who doesn’t love a box filled with the best local products around all in support of a good cause?

Festival attendees from across the country and right across town alike were eager to show their support, whether it be purchasing a limited edition Green Heart CHS W+FF Batch box, rocking multiple Green Heart tattoos, or designing a Green Heart postcard using fresh fruit and veggie stamps. We were blown away by the support and response from the community, fellow vendors, and Wine + Food staff and are grateful to have been given the opportunity to showcase what we do on such a big stage!

Having received such a positive response at the festival, Batch Charleston has generously offered to extend their free shipping of all Green Heart CHS W+FF batch boxes through the end of the week, so if you weren’t able to make it to the festival or just want to get your hands on a few more (we wouldn’t blame you), then be sure to make your purchase this week!  But wait, the generosity doesn’t stop there…100 percent of proceeds from all commemorative CHS W+FF Batch sales will go directly to supporting the Green Heart Project and our efforts to expand our programming to several deserving schools in the Charleston area.
