We’re In This Together

Alongside the rest of our community, COVID-19 has brought a drastic change to Green Heart’s day-to-day operations. With programs, events and normal office life put on hold, we’re adapting to the circumstances and working hard to find new ways to educate students, connect people and cultivate community, while keeping our staff, students and community members healthy and safe.

Our gardens & team: While many aspects of our work have been halted and changed, one thing remains the same: Our gardens will continue to grow! ? With warm weather crops like strawberries, tomatoes, basil, corn and sunflowers growing bigger by the day, our Green Heart staff is mobilizing to support our gardens, ensuring they are flourishing when our students return. Not to fear, our Green Heart staff is working remotely, and practicing social distancing and sanitation while we’re out in the gardens!
