Revelry Brewing Block Party 2015
There is no way around the fact that Revelry Brewing Company’s ‘Sausagefest’ Block Party was a success! It was a success not only in celebrating the one year anniversary of the local, upper peninsula brewery, but it was a success in raising over $8,700 for the Green Heart Project to support our mission and programs throughout the Charleston area.
With over 900 people in attendance, friends, families, neighbors and their dogs enjoyed a variety of sausages and bratwurst prepared by HomeTeam BBQ, Ted’s Butcherblock, Edmund’s Oast, Aaron Lewis BBQ and Artisan Meat Share while sipping on tasty Revelry brew and listening to Sunflowers and Sin and Pick’n’Roll Trio on a beautiful October afternoon! BK’ed provided kid-treats and veggie options, Charleston Fun Factory’s jump castles supplied kid entertainment and BoardSpaces Custom Cornhole put on a corn hole tournament with 25 teams competing to win a barbecued hog and Revelry pony keg for their own backyard BBQ.
The Green Heart Project was grateful to be included not only as the beneficiary, but a part of the community that came out that day. We could not have done it without our sponsors. Thank you to Charleston Fun Factory, Charleston City Paper, Byers Design Group, SIB Development, Snyder Events, Colony & Craft, JTE Marketing and David Aylor Lawfirm for sponsoring the event and Blue Ion and Las Olas for sponsoring the cornhole tournament!
A big thank you to everyone that came and huge thank you to the whole team at Revelry Brewing Co. It was an awesome event and we hope to be a part of Revelry’s birthday party for years to come!
