Plans continue for the Urban Farm at Enston Home

Plans continue for the Urban Farm at Enston Home, even in the midst of quarantine. We have been working diligently with our Urban Farm Build Partners Charleston Housing Authority, SeamonWhiteside, James White Construction, and Yellowstone Landscape to define a construction plan that adheres to COVID- 19 safety protocol.

Meanwhile, our staff is in the midst of job interviews with 42 high-schoolers who have applied for 8 coveted spots in our first ever summer Youth Internship Program. The Youth Internship Program is scheduled to start on June 15, following our COVID- 19 safety guidelines, and run through early August. We can’t wait to introduce you to our inaugural crew!
